Nina Runsdorf's namesake jewelry is as captivating as it’s designer, and Nina’s auspicious life is somehow captured in the brilliance of the pieces. Like the very diamonds she works with, Nina is multi-faceted and distinctive.

The Runsdorf family tree boasts 32 generations of jewelers and diamond merchants, a lineage that can be traced back to the very founders of the Antwerp Diamond Bourse in Europe. In America, the Runsdorfs have been doing business in the current diamond district for 62 years - and in every diamond district in New York City, all the way back to the very first on Maiden Lane. Nina started with jewelry then directed accessories design for such world-renowned houses as Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic and Wathne, Ralph Lauren handbag licensees, for the inception of their new namesake line.

For several years Nina has focused on designing one of kind pieces for a private clientele. With the overwhelming reception she has decided to expand the scope of her collection. For Spring 2005’ NSR launched her first collection. Her unique designs incorporate a true understanding of beauty, wear ability, and structure. The collection features diamonds, rose- cuts, rough and slice diamonds precious gems, set in platinum and 18k gold.

Nina is native to New York, born in Manhattan, raised upstate on a farm in Medusea. Today, Nina spends her days in her design studio, and at her home in New York City, where she lives with family.
