Nava draws her inspiration from the Mediterranean environment she grew up in - the sea, the beaches, olive trees and fresh soil. The cultural influences evident in her lines can be traced to ancient Egypt and Greece.

The structural organization of the jewelry reveals her extensive background in design. Nava is influenced by the colors of nature surrounding her: the blue of the seas and sky draws her to use Aquamarine stones, the sand turns into Citrine and Rutilated stones, and the earth is represented in her warm Carnelians.

When designing her jewelry, she uses mostly organic stones, wrapped in 24k gold, as if embraced by the sun. Nava strives to create designs of lasting beauty that rise above trends.
